Noteworthy is the prevalence of pre-diabetes in 89% of the U.S. population, underscoring the urgent need for proactive measures. Moreover, considering the substantial financial burden associated with diabetes, which amounted to $303 billion in 2018 in the U.S., reinforcing self-care practices and implementing proactive screening measures becomes paramount. Thus, our research presentation will focus on addressing these pivotal aspects to foster early diagnosis and effective management of diabetes at Mercy Medical Centre.
